Me and the Boys took care of business today in the mountains….. THUNDER KNOB TRAIL up in the North Cascade National Park.

If children had the option of choosing who they would want to be their parents, my brother would probably get a lot of votes. Miss those kids. Seattle Cornejos need to hurry up and get their behinds over to South Central.

Cornejo Baby Updates

Let’s start off with the new guy, Jimmy Jr., cause I’ve been lagging it on posting him up on this thang. According to my brother, the lil’ one is doing good. This is him at 3am EVERY morning. Ah, round 3am I’m cruising around my second dream, a little drool pool has gathered on my pillow by my mouth and meanwhile in Seattle, this is my brother’s scene. Parenthood looks like fun. I’ve yet to meet  Jimmy Jr. and getting pictures like this just makes me anticipate our first meeting even more. Stay cute, buddy.

And meanwhile, also in Seattle, Baby Nicholas is now taking on lots of roles:

an Ex-Orlando resident, big brother to Jimmy Jr., my godson, and he’s gotten a little jealous of all the love Jimmy Jr. is getting (which is completely normal) which explains why he’s in need of that caffeine. I can’t wait to hang out with him now. Every time my brother and I talk he’s quick to say “Hi Uncle!” You gotta love that.

And we can’t forget about Jerry. Jerry is who I spend the most time with. His hair is getting wild but my sister is refusing to cut his hair. At first I wasn’t backing it, but he’s a little silly kid and it suits him well. Peek-a-Boo is his latest obsession and if you’re a master of it like his mother and big brother is, he’ll let his laughter rip right through his chunky little cheeks. He’s crawling now. Next week, I’m taking him to get his driver’s permit.

And as all this is going on, the family’s first girl/niece/daughter/granddaughter is growing inside my sister’s belly. That’s it for now, folks.

My brother, Jimmy, sent this picture to me via phone text. I absolutely love this picture. It makes me miss them, want to visit them in their new home in Washington and anxiously await the arrival of Jimmy Jr.
Que ya salga ese mi Jimmy Jr. Pero que se aguante un poco because grandma is coming to visit on April 8th.
